Indications:
- Immobilisation of the trapeziometacarpal joint in early osteoarthritis of the thumb.
- Pain at the base of the thumb.
- Peri-scaphoid joint disease.
- Following surgery: Thumb prosthesis, Trapeziectomy, Surgery for fractures at the base of the first metacarpal bone: Rolando or Bennett´s fracture.
- Mild thumb pain.
Fitting instructions:
- Open the wrist straps.
- Slip the thumb into the splint.
- Adjust the wrist strap, pulling it through the tightening loop.
- Adjust the thumb strap.
Precautions:
To avoid any constriction problems, be careful not to over-tighten the Velcro straps.
Follow the advice of the professional who prescribed the product. Consult your professional if discomfort occurs.
Store at room temperature, preferably in its original packaging.
